I am a freshly minted MLIS. I graduated from Wayne State in May of 2013. I am a huge reference geek, and have a passion for providing information services to patrons, be they students or at a public library. I am currently an Reference and Instructional Librarian at Marygrove College. An extensive resume can be found at this link, for those interested.
On a personal level, I was born in Flint, Michigan and raised in a small town on the edge of the Huron National Forest in Northern Michigan. Recently from Lansing I now live north of Detroit for work. I am an avid reader, particularly of regency era and queer romances, as well as a wide range of genres. My current favorite authors are Tamora Pierce (fantasy YA fiction), Courtney Milan (Historical Romances), and Heidi Cullinan (M/M Romances) . My current reading goals are to read one book a month outside of my comfort zone genres.
I am an enthusiastic home cook and baker, with no pretentious to foodiedom. It may not look pretty, be made of fancy ingredients, but it will taste good! I like to pretend I know how to knit and crochet, as I’m not particularly good at either one of them. Beyond this, I’m currently on a mission to watch then entire canon of the Star Trek universe.
